Laundry bug

Look at this photo, isn’t it adorable?  One evening, as I was scrolling through my photos, I stumbled across it quite by chance, and it made me smile.

Twice a week, when I do our laundry, this is what Moss does, she trots over and sits on it, or in it.  If I leave the laundry on the floor for whatever reason, I return to find her snuggled up amid the smelly socks, T shirts and school uniform.

I don’t mind in the least.

It’s one of those little habits that has evolved over time, she probably started doing it when she was a puppy, and now it’s a habit.

I’m a big fan of making the simple, repetitive jobs more fun.  So Moss hopping onto a pile of laundry, as it waits for me to stuff it into the washing machine, is actually a bonus.

It might be one of the benefits of her growing up with us as a family, which is perhaps how these funny little habits evolve, I don’t know.  It’s similar to her howling as the church bells strike up for practice on Wednesday evenings or for the church service on Sunday mornings.  The moment she hears the bells Moss stands up, throws her head back, and howls like a wolf.  We love it and it makes us laugh.

Do let me what habits your dogs have that make you laugh.
