Today, Valentine’s day, Moss and I find ourselves walking in the woods as usual, I sense there’s a real frisson in the air. I love how the calendar dates reflect the seasons. Over the winter it’s been quieter, but today the birds are singing in a particular kind of way.
They are getting territorial.
The energy in the woods is beginning to change.
Soon, with the coming of the spring it will be full on sex! You can really sense it, loud and sometimes quite overpowering, as the days get longer and the mating games begin.
Love comes in many different forms, this Valentine’s day, I think I’ll be celebrating my love of the seasons.
